For a $15 wine this can't get better. Penfold has done an amazing job with their Bins, particularly on the lower price range. For an old world style grape this tastes suspiciously like a new world Napa cab, which I'm perfectly fine with. Good full body (this is 2013, perhaps gets better over time) for its age and smooth tannis. Just what you would expect from a nice cab. Too bad most places are sold out. — 8 years ago
Great wine. Bought in Hong Kong, so paid a bit more than average. What you would think of a Napa Cab... Full body but very drinkable. Lots of fruit, berries and currant. Great tannins, not overpowering and let's just a hint of sweetness come through. Good wine for the price point. Wouldn't call it a great find. Lots of wine this good at this price range. — 9 years ago
Was really hoping to like this based on reviews. Great color and first sip. Lots of berries and fruit. Then I realized it was too much of that... very fruity and too too sweet. If a bit more dry it would be a great sipping wine on its own. Prob not the best to pair with food. — 8 years ago
Wow... cab mix from down under. For $22 you can't beat this! Never had a cab Malbec mix before, really great. Smooth, full bodied, fruity wine. Not quite chewy, but full. I went back and bought a case the next day... — 8 years ago
To start, great rose color. Many rose bottles has a more yellowish tint than pink. This one is spot on. Taste wise very dry and crisp. Fruity long and through with refreshing pear and raspberry... Very good buy for $15. — 8 years ago
Introduced to me by a South African friend. Priced as an easy to drink everyday cab. Both the 2010 and 2011 are very ready to drink. Both approachable and more expensive/mature tasting than the price would suggest. Great new-world cab taste. — 10 years ago
Really not great for my taste. Yes, not too $$, so can't expect much, but I have much better wine for the price. Color is great, so I was expecting some good things, but very light in taste, almost watered down... no real body. Can't taste much fruit... it's there but just watered down. Barely finished it... — 8 years ago
Don't know the cost so can't say how much value you get. Had it at a post golf tourney dinner. Also the wine was not properly chilled. Despite all that, really liked the first sip. Enjoyed it all the way. Very smooth... Great tannins. Not overly fruity. Well balanced. Would be a little light for smoked meat or big BBQ, but I'd have this as a sipping Cab is there is such a thing. — 8 years ago
Beautiful wine. 2012 vintage. Very smooth full bodied new-world wine. Good balance of fruit and tannin. Dry cab that fits my palate very well. Can't beat the taste/value combo. I'm getting another case. — 9 years ago

Really impressed with this little $12 gem. For everyday drinking, I'm happy with a nice full Pinot. But really like the taste of a full Cab with steak... Can't do that everyday. This is a perfect middle ground. Fresh, little sweet and very fruity. Light but not watered down. My go to every night red these days. Very much like a fresh tasting Justin. — 6 years ago
