Perfect for lovers of Cru Burgundy... Cherry/raspberry fruit along with classic Jura earthiness on the palate. Powerful acidity but drinking great now. Spicy, floral, and fruity this wine does it all! Can't wait to try again in 3-5 years! — 8 years ago
Fantastic Napa can from a classic producer. Complex, powerful, and finessed tannins are the hallmarks of this wine. Herbaceous on the nose; palate of trademark mint, slightly earthy, rich red fruit, cedar and sandalwood. — 8 years ago
Very developed. Granite minerality with strong masculine flavors yet true to its heritage - classic pinotage fruit still persistent. — 7 years ago
Floral with violets, roses, cherry fruit, cola like richness, and topped off with old leather. Complex and yet easy drinking this is a superb natural wine. — 8 years ago
Beautiful and exceedingly aromatic this wine is a delight. Mineral driven Cru Beaujolais with slight funky notes, subtle herbal notes, and dangerously delicious wild strawberries. — 8 years ago
Extremely floral nose, bright acidity, and tannins that are mature and present without necessitating food. (But certainly good with some!) On the palate I find strawberries and cherries dipped in cola and rolled over worn leather. Hedonistic and dangerously drinkable. I agree with Bethany, much better on day 2. — 8 years ago
Tobacco, leather, and earth swirl around a fruit core of blueberries and other dark berries. Supple tannins that mellowed after an hour, perfect for food or by itself! — 8 years ago
Extremely floral, spicy, and complex nose giving way to a lush, juicy palate. Cherries, light leather, and dark fruit glide over the tongue with low but present acidity. Finish is long and peppery. Extremely pleasurable and a unique wine for the region. — 8 years ago
Bright acidity, crisp fruit, subtle savory notes, brilliant minerality makes my mouth water for more... Perfect rosé in my opinion and drinking beautifully now (March 2017). Can't wait to open more! — 8 years ago

Had the distinct pleasure of tasting with the winemaker himself - delightful chap to say the least. Big vintage dripping with fruit and good structure. — 7 years ago
