Tonnes of black and red berries on the nose, somehow very rich and full but also quite light. Smooth, low to medium tannin on palate, slightly tart. Finish is slightly dry, very well balanced with coffee and raspberry.
Drunk with Alex on Christmas film night. — 14 days ago
An okay wine, not very exciting. Had it on it's own. Quite sharp at first, high in tannins and also quite dry but improved greatly by a little bit of cheese. Will be nicer with food! — a month ago
Light, floral and fruity. Probably more of a summer wine, but nice with lunch. Cherry on the nose, sharper Berry notes on the palate. — a month ago
Dry but also sweet. Apples, pears, honey. A white wine I actually like! Couldn't drink more than a glass, but the first one is lovely and refreshing. — a month ago
A fairly acidic aroma. Smoky, burnt caramel, red berries. The flavour is incredibly rich. Cloves and other warm spices, orange. Gives way to a lovely deep plum crumble finish, lingers a very long time.
Delicious with a great beef stew on Bernie's 60th. — a month ago
Very dry, bold and well balanced. Honey and strawberries on the nose, strawberries and sweet peppers on palate. — a month ago
Easy drinking and simple. Light and fruity, quite subtle flavours. — a month ago
A wonderful wine to have with roast dinner or risotto. Have only ever had this round a big table full of friends, which probably adds to the enjoyment. But both times, have happily drunk this all evening.
Rich and very smooth, quite buttery. — a month ago
