Light and easy drinking. Grassy notes become stronger as the wine meets oxygen and allowed to open. Flint and smoke are predominant not fruit notes. Bright at fruit driven with the minimality that is distinctly New Zealand. — 9 years ago
Tart and sweet. Off dry with Granny Smith Apple notes dominating. A little silky and waxy mouth. But predominatly light and easy drink. Best with fish or spicy foods. A little too sweet to enjoy completely by itself — 9 years ago
Full from traditional method but not as round or toasty as champagne. Easy drinking and bright. Sweet and ready to drink — 9 years ago
Bright candied cherries with robust oak and dark nose notes. Potting soil on nose for earth. Light and med bodies with easy tannins and high acid making a great food wine — 9 years ago
Recommend lightly chilled. Served around 50 degrees or so. Light and playful on the tongue with what feels like an light effervescence. Tart and candy like when warmer. But slightly chilled the wine is elegant with tart cherry notes. Perfect as an aperitif red — 9 years ago
Darker red fruits with a touch of pepper and sopuce. Med+ tannins that are rough now, but prob will round and mellow with age. Great step up from a Pinot that won't be too overwhelming — 9 years ago
Bright cherry cola typical willamette Pinot. A little sad notes and spice from a slight wood aging. Easy drinking and ready not — 9 years ago
Bright with an almost evervescence. playful on the tongue. Earthy with a pinch of spice. Juicy with high acid and tart red fruit. — 9 years ago
Full bodied but tannins round out with a little time with oxygen. Big and flavorful. Big bright black cherry notes. Tart cherry goes to ripe dark cherry with oxygen. Rassberries and other red berry notes on mouth. Give time to open up or age even longer. Equates to a less complex Boudreaux and should pair in similar fashion — 9 years ago
