Saint-Estèphe Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1990
This tends to be wildly inconsistent, as most bottles I've had smell like a dirty chicken coop lined with fresh cut hay, but the few good ones can be special. The 1989 has been more consistently impressive and is a classic.
Good to know, it was a first bottle of this producer for me since Christy and her husband brought the two Bordeaux to dinner. Thanks Mike!
