I really enjoy this wine. Bigger, richer and more complex than most chiantis. Aroma is of black currant, a whiff of smoke and some oak. Flavor is deep with black cherry, oak, licorice. Meaty and rich in viscosity. Smoke on the finish. — 4 years ago
Really nice. Light Cherry, some light black pepper and a hint of baking spice. The finish has some light oak notes. Bought for the wife as a daily drinker. It works. Will seek this again... — 4 years ago
Aroma is vegetal (asparagus) , some grassy notes and apple
Flavor is mostly vegetal and grassy with a decent Creamy texture and oak notes.
Creamy finish lays on your tongue. Some might say butter, but I wouldn't go that far. — 4 years ago
Tobacco, earthy notes, licorice and some chocolate. Tannins are rather high. Dark black fruit. Black Currant. Body is fairly light and lighter than expected/hoped. Dark ripe fruit on the finish. — 4 years ago
Aroma is of grass, minerals and some lemon. A moment or two of apple.
Flavor is in a similar vein with the citrus notes, minerality and a touch of honey on the finish. But not really too much sweetness. Crisp and delightful. — 4 years ago
Cherry Juice in both Aroma and taste. Somewhat tart with light body — 4 years ago
Fresh Cherry, hints of raspberry some light black pepper mineral and earthy notes. Light and fresh body. Silky. Was quite enjoyable on its own and with our Vegetable Torlou. The best news is that the wife loved it and our challenge to get her to enjoy Pinot Noir (specifically Burgundy) — 4 years ago
Aroma - Meaty, Cedar, oak, earth notes. Mushroom
Let open for a while
Spiced Blueberry with baking spice notes. . When first opened, high tannin and astringent on tongue. This loosens as it opens. Almost menthol notes.
The astringency returned. A wine that would benefit from some more time in the bottle
Not sure it's worth picking up a couple more to put away.... Not sure.

Great wine and one I'm pleased to have it as my local store found it for me based on a favorite from my trip to Loire. Apple, melon, some lemon and a good deal minerality. Moment of honey. — 4 years ago

Really one note in each dimension. Nothing bad, nothing wrong. A standard wine for its type. But also nothing to make you love it anymore. Aroma, at first, was pure cherry juice. This transitioned to some darker fruit notes and some blackberry with some earth notes and mushroom.
Flavor is more of the blackberry, especially after opening and some cedar.
Finish is non-existent, which is really an issue. — 4 years ago
