Strong rustic and pine aromatics almost overwhelm at the beginning, before settling down an hour later to allow the mountain fruit and more subtle forest notes to show off. Not hot, great mouthfeel, and a long finish. Even better the next day. — 5 years ago

An outstanding example from my favorite white wine region. Strong citrus (lime, pith) and minerality are balanced with light floral and stone fruit on the nose and mirrors on the palate. Moderately high acid that dances over the tongue and would be perfectly paired with seafood tapas. The finish lingers for over a minute, pulling the taster back for another sip. An impressive effort and well worth the price of admission. Drink now till 2017. — 10 years ago

One of those wines that you sip, taste, feel... And immediately go "Wow, this is a great wine!" Fleshy, with bright cherry singing a pure solo backed by a chorus of savory spices, wonderfully palatable acid, and pleasantly light tannins. The finish defies expectation by lingering longer than many wines much heavier, but also with a much happier expression of flavors. Drink this and smile! — 5 years ago
