Outstanding Gattinara from an organic producer. This Nebbiolo is as elegant as can be, with intense dark fruit on the nose and nice earthiness, with some tar/burnt rubber. Beautifully drinkable. Palate has rich dark fruit while retaining a medium body. Very good acidity and moderate tannins. — 8 years ago
Complex nose of dark fruit and quite a bit of dried herbs and leather. On the palate - huge fruit, very ripe, a bit off-balance. Fairly long finish. I'm on the fence with this one. — 9 years ago
Cracked open this 10-year old Nebbiolo that I’ve been holding for a while. Still super vibrant from when I last drank this, with good and acidity, and well-balanced tannins that have come from a bit of age. Raspberries on the nose, and dried herbs (thyme?), a bit floral. Sour cherries when it was younger are a bit more kirsch now. And anise for sure. Still an amazing value — can we have more of these affordable Langhe Nebbiolos at the LCBO please?? — 7 years ago
One of the finest young Langhe Nebbiolo I've tasted (non-Barbaresco or Barolo). Very elegant wine and outstanding value from a superb producer. Raspberry, strawberry, and flowers. Palate is dry with very nice acidity, subtle and all as it should be. Highly recommended. — 8 years ago
This is a massive and extremely delicious Brunello. Packs a punch at 14.5 %, with an intense nose of raspberries and spice. Palate is beautifully balanced with good acidity, very complex and finish lasts for minutes. Wow! — 9 years ago
Yuuuge wine. Intense dark fruit, meatiness, almost savoury. Very full bodied — 16%, boozy! Asphalt/tar character to it, weird but it works. — 7 years ago
Rich and intense -- and excellent value. Fruity, dark raspberry and some tar and meatiness from the Syrah in the blend. Unique for northern Italy. — 8 years ago
Another good Pinot Gris from Organized Crime. This 2015 has a touch less acidity than the 2014 (which we liked better). Pretty colour from longer skin contact during pressing. Floral on the nose with melon on both nose and palate. Nicely balanced with med finish. — 8 years ago
This Crozes-Hermitage is an extraordinary value with a deep and concentrated richness on the nose and palate. Dark fruit and violets, and lots of sandalwood, that linger through a long finish. Lower alcohol and medium body mean no burn. Strongly recommended! — 9 years ago

Nice acidity and good amount of minerality. More savoury than other Garnachas I’ve drunk with good complexity for the price. Nice with lamb and rosemary. Paid $24 at Vino Carta. — 4 years ago
