7.8

Entry is for Katherine Hills Cabernet Sauvignon, but Delectable only has the Shiraz in the listing.

Dark red color, almost blood-like. Hint of purple.

Alcohol nose quite noticeable. Steel wool.

Meaty, not strongly acidic, quite tannic. A little saltiness.

Notes of vanilla, grape vine, banana, Sprite.

Noticeable alcohol after taste. Herbal.

Color: definitely the ruby color that is expected of pinot noir

Nose: blackcurrent, raisins, that lager smell, red apples.

Light bodied, tart, oaky. Very faint tannin. Alcohol content feels naturally induced. Oakiness fills the nostrils after each sip.

6.0

Color is darker than what I'd expect from a pinot noir.

Smells of raisins, blackcurrant.

Light bodied, slight tannin.

Notes of tartness, bread crust, romaine lettuce, mussels, rubber band. Hint of salt. Had an edge of paracetamol at the end. Alcohol tastes artificially introduced, quite harsh.

Short finish.
