Kind of a Bordeaux novice, but this 2008 vintage is medium-light body, acidic, red cherry, cedar. Did not aerate; should have. It does open up after several glasses into plum notes; soft tannins. — 7 years ago

I've shied away from Bordeaux because I don't have the space or budget to invest for years of aging, but Trader Joe's had this 2008 for $24 so I tried it. Nothing to compare to, but really enjoyed this. Complex aroma, structured mouth, long finish - really good. I'm going back for a couple more bottles. — 8 years ago
