A vanilla and wood-fired nose. Dark fruits, particularly plum and blueberry, along with vanilla throughout. Velvety with mild tannins. Rich but approachable. Lets you know it's there, without overstaying its welcome. An appropriate house guest. Easy to drink, enjoyed while we made fried chicken. — 8 years ago

Classic Italian red, on the light side. Predominantly red fruit with a hint of blueberry and white pepper. Characteristic Tuscan spice. Finishes smooth with a tease of sweetness. Pair with spicy meat dishes. Decant 60 minutes prior to drinking. We made it with chicken tortilla soup...class class class... — 8 years ago
