Something about this cab is just fine, not great. Has a warm, wormwood-like entry and then decent complexity. Herbal, not overly so, and dry but not overly so. After two hours decanted, more spice and tobacco notes rise to the top, and a delayed finish. I like that it's not overly fruit forward but it's almost as if there's something missing from the recipe.
Solid, enjoyable, not incredible. — 6 years ago
Such a great bouquet, a lingering yet really light finish. Perfect Gamay — 4 years ago
A pretty fantastic red wine. Juicy while not sweet, benefits from decanting. Not to be too chilled before serving, notes get lost in the cold. Dry, long finish, medium bodied, fantastic. Got it on sale for $23 and would gladly pay $30+ — 6 years ago
All of my favorite qualities of a Provençal red. Mineral, a little acidic, still with some earthy. Superb. Would drink in lieu of a Gigondas or CDP anyday — 4 years ago
Very nice Nero. Easy to drink, nice decent finish. Herbal but not medicinal. Blind tasted next to a much cheaper Nero and vastly preferred this one. — 6 years ago

Cool mineral tones, medium finish. Great balance in the body, not too thin, with some minty spice — 3 years ago
