A very nice old-world styled expression of Finger Lakes Pinot. Still quite primary, with tart strawberry, dark raspberry, subtle ripe red cherry, lingering rose petal, fallen wet Autumn leaves, forest floor, Hints of saddle leather, tea leaves, vanilla and baking spice and refined tannins. Very similar to the 12' but richer and deeper. — 9 years ago

Perfect encapsulation of a Burgundy village wine. Dried cherry and rose petal. Cranberry sauce, iron, baking spice, cinnamon blood orange with dried sage notes. Rich and expressive with good texture on the palate. A steal in the $30-$40 range. — 9 years ago
