I was getting an olive aroma mixed with some subtle spice, which was very interesting - in a good way. By itself, it was a good dry wine with present tannins and notes of cherry at the front, a nice tobacco and spice at the back of the tongue. Paired with Brie, the cherry notes are enhanced and the wine is smoothed out. Paired with an aged cheddar, this wine will make your tastebuds sing! — 9 years ago
