What isn't there to like? It's not an acid bomb and had enough sweetness to balance the brightness. Nose of lemongrass, key lime pie, lots of minerality, chlorine, white flowers too. Tastes doesn't hold as much complexity, some alcohol burn, finish isn't exciting either, but no glaring flaws. I'd still pick this over a lot of NZ SB for the balance alone. — 8 years ago
Really nice fermented sour cherry nose, with ginger and steamed cedar - some grains of paradise too. Fairly large tannins and medium+ acidity. It's jammy (red raspberry/cherry), but not too sweet and has a nice tart Greek yoghurt finish. After letting it rest everything softens nicely - kerosene, caramelized banana, richer berry jams while retaining the acidity - lovely — 8 years ago

Nose of intense old wood, tar, blackberry jam. Taste is tobacco, sugary cherry cordial, marshmallow. Has a good tartness with medium+ acidity, low tannins. Pretty classic — 7 years ago
Nose of mushrooms, bandaids, ripe Concord grapes, wet wood. Tastes like you'd think - creamy chanterelles, rich jams - blackberry, concord grape again, finish introduces some ripe, roasted bananas. Medium/medium-low tannins and acidity - aging nicely. Really delicious — 8 years ago
Classic ash, sweaty, tropical nose. Palette reveals green grapes, lemon pith, pineapple, medium high acid is nice, still some viscosity, touch of salt. No complaints here — 7 years ago
Man this is bright - acidity is off the charts. Love the minerality, wet rocks, sage, fresh green pepper, lemon, pineapple. — 8 years ago
