Late harvest chenin blanc. Reminds me of a Tokaij, but less cloying. Elegant wine that matches well with a sweet dessert. — 7 years ago
Forgotten in the back of the wine rack, and I was not expecting much after 15 years with a white port. After decanting around the cork fragments, it turned out to be...still pretty drinkable, with a nice nutty oxidation,a bit like a PX Sherry. Not what I would call a port anymore, but on its own terms, a pretty well put together bottle of fortified wine. Will drink the next bottle sooner! — 7 years ago
Sherry-thin but soft and subtle, with a bit of a burn right at the finish. — 7 years ago
California Cab, a little spicy, hot but not rough. — 7 years ago

Not subtle, just big, hot, fruity and delicious, with a dry start that builds to a big burning middle and leaves a pruny tang on the tongue. — 7 years ago
