Gold w subtle green tints. Smells like fresh ocean air--definite saline character-with spiced pear undercurrent. Medium body, much more lightly spiced fruit--pear, lemon citrus--than saline/mineral on the palate. Bonus points for uniqueness--one cool grape. Not rating higher just because the uniqueness was pushing it a bit for my palate, one glass was enough for me. I'd go back to it eventually though and think it's definitely well made. — 8 years ago

Saturated violet w reddish rim. Mix of darker and red fruit, black currant/berry, violet and brambly spice/peppery aromas. Good balanced acidity and spice on the palate. Pretty good length and punch to it. Dense but not super rich, not reserved but upfront and friendly. Subtle smoke if you let it open up a bit. Me likey. — 8 years ago
