Not bad. Having not tried many German wines, it was completely different from a California Pinot Noir. Much lighter in color and flavor. Was also a little more dry and much less complex. We used it for a Scandinavian drink called glögg and it went well with it. — 7 years ago

Nicely paired with a charcuterie board for a light Pinot that isn’t too complex but still very good. Strong cherry flavor. Delish! — 7 years ago

I give this a 10 for the price point. “Go-to” choice for a dinner wine through the week. I love the light Smokey notes with the dark cherry. Pairs nicely with dark chocolate or I love it with grilled pork chops and Brussels sprouts. — 7 years ago
