This is one of my go to wines, Moscato's seem to be around my sweetness lvl. They are also within my budget at $ (Walmart). This one was a nice fruity sweet without being cloying. Will buy again. — 7 years ago
Very light peach flavor, nothing fabulous but drinkable.
Oh, and for some reason it made me burp a lot... And no, I wasn't guzzling it! — 7 years ago
I found this wine at Walmart on sale, otherwise it would have been over my "let's give it a try" limit. It looked fancy in its tall skinny bottle and had a nice slider on the back showing it was on the up side of medium-sweet. Which I greatly approve of for us ignorant winos. That first glass however had me on the fence.
When you first drink it there is a nice fresh, sweet fruit flavor. I was liking it. Then you swallow and this odd aftertaste hits you. The more I drank, the more it hit me till I was grimacing at the end of the glass. I am told this is a thing with riesling.... Okay... Mark them off my list because this bottle is still in my fridge two bottles of wine later. Not my thing. — 7 years ago
Budget Wino
I took a chance with this wine as I'd never heard of it before, but it was within my budget. I got it at Walmart on clearance normally 8$something, I got it for 4.50. Bargain! It sounded interesting because it was honey wine, which I'd never had, and black cherry, which I've always liked.
The first sip and I didn't taste Any honey, bummer, but OK. Second taste and it wasn't all that cheeryish either, but I didn't have to spit it out, so it wouldn't be banished into the cooking section. As I finished the glass I decided that it was only OK because there was an odd taste I couldn't identify. Maybe some posh wine sniffer with an actual pallet would be able to tell me what it is, but I couldn't. So I'm drinking it with a big question on each glass. Hmmmmm. — 7 years ago
