Tasted with 4 other Champagnes and 1 new world sparkler. My favorite of the tasting. Inviting nose of brioche, fruit and toast. Fine bubbles that explode on entry. Beautifully balanced in the mouth with interplay of fruit, yeastiness and sweetness all held in check. Very classic finish. Love this style. — 10 years ago
Tasted with 4 other Champagnes and 1 new world sparkler. Aromas were toasted to the point of being almost reduced or burnt. Delicate bubbles and old world mouthfeel with lots of toast on the finish and fruit playing a secondary role. Not my favorite compared side by side but could be fine on its own — 10 years ago
Tasted alongside 5 French champagnes. Stood out as the clear New World bubbly. Fruit forward without much complexity but nice acid/sweet balance and great expression of pinot fruit. Good price for performance — 10 years ago

Tasted with 4 other Champagnes and 1 new world sparkler. Very light rosé color. This barrel fermented champagne has a distinctive style that tasted more like a Blanc de Noir than rosé. Fruit a little subdued but nice lively structure and freshness. BF is evident on the finish with very slight oak influence coming through. — 10 years ago
