Atypical of our familiarity with Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs. Peppery on the front end with a metallic/mineral tinge. Bit of gaminess and leather, with hints of sour cherry (emphasis on the sour). Dry finish on the palette. Notes and mouth feel are well balanced, but missing the white flower headlines of our preferred Pinot Noirs. — 5 years ago
