Lighter than most Merlot I'm used to from California. Soft edges with leather, plums, and a hint of oak. Tannins are well integrated in this wine that has a nice, velvety finish. — 10 years ago
Very fruity with big, chewy tannins. A nice wine to go with our simple spaghetti dinner. — 10 years ago

A great port! Hitting myself for only buying one bottle of this for $22 a year ago. — 10 years ago

Really opened up after about 15 minutes. Lots of jammy flavors. A great light red wine to drink with appetizers or by itself. — 10 years ago

Lots of pepper, raspberry, and a touch of cedar. Could still cellar for another 3-5 years easy. Another great effort from El Jefe and El Corazon. — 10 years ago

Have always wanted to try Dominus and it did not disappoint. Chocolate, leather, and chewy. Bummer they were out of the 2005 since this was for our 10 year anniversary. — 10 years ago
