Got a screaming good deal on this wine ($11) so for the price I was very satisfied. Mouthfeel and fruit are there. Not super complex but a solid cab that can stand on it’s own. I would buy a lot more if I found it close to my price. If it were $40 I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic. — 3 years ago
This was the second try and still am very satisfied. Good fruit to acidity balance for a rioja. Stands on its own too. — 3 years ago
$6.99 Syrah. The nose reeks of dried cork, wild game and herbal notes. Palate is soft blueberries. Unfortunately couldn’t get passed the funky nose hence the poor review — 3 years ago
This is actually Trader Joe's petite verdot. I couldn’t find it in delectable. It’s hard to find a 100% petite Verdot so I had to try. Quite intense, almost muscular but lacks finesse. Needs food with it, preferably something rich or spicy. — 3 years ago
We enjoyed this one on a hot summer day. It’s got good balance, just the right amount of richness but unlike a lot of Californian chards, the fruit matches. — 4 years ago
The cork broke so we had to decant this 2008 twice through a coffee filter. Well worth the effort. Nose of old forest floor, ripe blueberries, leather, baked cherries and plum. — 3 years ago
For the reserva with 5+ yrs I expected it to be a bit more refined. As others have mentioned its on the boozy side. Though slightly “in your face” there is much to like. The nose is very complex and the palate is anything from boring. Before trying another bottle I would like to aged this for another 3 years. Still worth the price. — 3 years ago

Chalky, with roasted cranberry preserve, very dry, body is pretty tame but just enough to hold its own…hmm…not sure what to think, not huge mid palate but it’s very approachable and lovely nose. I like it! Much better than the Brunello di montalcino sitting next to it which is nice but too much of an acid bomb. Thanks Bro for sharing! — 9 months ago
