Great wine for the price. Hints of blackberry and cherry. I I detected a hint of vanilla on the nose. Very easy drinking on the 2014. This wine paired very well with lamb. It was a very easy drinking wine. Medium body with full tannins as you would expect from a good Shiraz. This is a great wine to buy by the case and breakout for a dinner of beef or lamb stew, grilled lamb or venison. — 8 years ago

Had the pleasure of discovering this wine while visiting the winery at VJB. I shipped some home and will buy a case of this for the cellar. This is a wonderful smooth wine, great for an Italian meal. Tannins are low and a nice hint of black Cherry exists on the finish. This is a very delightful wine. — 5 years ago

This is an incredible Sauvignon Blanc. Let this wine open a bit as it is a bit harsh at first; but it opens to the nose quickly. When it does open it seems to give nice aromas of peach and pear. I’m buying a case. — 8 years ago

This is all cab! Bold and smooth with a wonderful taste of black cherry. Low tannins - as you let this breathe a bit it really opens to floral tones. Nice wine - had it with pizza but would have paired better with a nice rib eye! — 7 years ago

Machete Petite Sirah Blend 2015
How can a wine be both bold and soft at the same time? Orin Swift has figured it out. This is really an amazing wine - a blend consisting of Grenache, petit Syrah, and Syrah this wine boasts to me mostly blue berries and plum. The tannins are very ripe to me which makes the finish just incredible. I can taste a nice blend of cassis and ripe black berries. To me Orin Swift is a genius and he has once again created a masterpiece. — 8 years ago
