Very acidic to the nose and palette. — 5 years ago
This was an odd bird for me... being from the bluegrass state; I like a good bourbon and I like a good red wine. I felt the bourbon barrel aging added a definite flair to the nose and flavor, with a spicy delectable scent and an oaky musk that, at first sip, rolls your tongue. It felt similar to the sometimes stern first meeting with a good strong bourbon, moving you to a softer backend that brings you down more gently than a prescriptive opioid. I would recommend this with some great dark chocolate chip cookies, or a fatty steak that’s had its ass smacked and slapped on your plate! — 5 years ago

Love it! A nice dry Sauvignon Blanc with a great mouth feel and flavor profile! — 4 years ago
