Classic Viognier profile with good minerality and generous fruit — 9 years ago
Tart acidity, tight cherry fruit, very light body. Mineral finish. Not my favorite style of Pinot noir - lacks earthiness and seriousness of its better peers, IMO. — 9 years ago
Wow. Bright, fruity and approachable but with a depth of character that took me by surprise. Perfectly balanced acidity makes it easy to drink by itself or paired with food. Deep rich color belies the Sangiovese heritage, looking more like a Syrah or Bordeaux in the glass. A great everyday wine!

Im normally not a cab fan, but this showed an amazing amount of brambly dark fruit, very well balanced acidity, and soft tannins. Granted it's 16 years old, so that helps! — 9 years ago

Tart but nicely balanced, juicy acidity. Clean mid-palate without overbearing “grapiness” of some Pinot noir. High alcohol content is not obvious (does not seem “hot” on the palate.). Not much earthy complexity on the finish. New world style without being overly fruity. Great with pork loin in cherry reduction. — 7 years ago
