There's a subtile sweetness in this wine that balanced the tannins and allowed expression of the fruit. However there is a mysterious but identifiable aroma on the front end that slightly degrades the overall pleasant qualities of the wine. — 9 years ago

Very acidic when opened. Aromas blunted. No lingering finish. Four days later with oxygenation the acidity has softened and a peppery blackberry character has emerged which is very pleasant. However I doubt I'd want to wait for it to reveal itself again. — 9 years ago
