An organic wonder! Found this at a free tasting and was immediately please with its drinkability. There is a subtle earthy spice, which likely reflects the natural treatment and longevity of the soil from where the grapes are grown. Apparently the 'youngest' vine on the vineyard is 40 years old. The finish is wet and just pleasantly short enough. Love this for everyday. And the different bottle is a nice departure which makes it fun to take to dinner parties. — 12 years ago

beautifully drinkable wine. Layered notes of deep, spicy red berries with lighter floral tones resulting in a juicy start, medium finish that lingers just as long as you'd like without being overpowering. Paired incredibly well with a bison roast and root vegetables. Would pair just as well with a hearty pasta or pork dish. — 11 years ago
One of my favorite French pintos in a long time. Wonderful aroma. Perfect balance. Excellent finish. — 11 years ago

Fun new fact of the night: the tannat grape, used in this truly phenomenal Malbec blend, is one of only 3 varietals of grape that has an actual red fruit on the inside. This particular tannat grape is grown at 7000 feet (unlike the usual 2000-3000) making it intense and vibrant and truly delicious! — 11 years ago
Found this wonderfully balanced, slightly sour & pleasantly juicy wine to be exactly what it's label suggests - an acoustic wine, based on the "unplugged", unfussy wisdom of ancient vineyards. An expressive palate of sour cherry, juicy red fruit and earthy undertones. Perfect to sip or share... but you may find me not in the sharing mood. Just sayin'... — 12 years ago
