Some blackberry, black cherry, spiced, hibiscus, red licorice, touch oily, moderate coarse tannins, low + acid, short on pallete, has a little power in the glass, but sadly needs more flavor — 6 years ago
Solid for the price at cost. Developed tones of Black Berry, Black Plum, Leather. A little hot in the nose, but not to picky in this price range. Good acid, tannin, fruit, savory balance. — 7 years ago
Sandlewood, red cherry, red licorice, hibiscus, soft pallete, low+ tannins - refined, medium length, solid little wine, balanced, want more, but cant be made at the price point. Still getting new flavors, more developed red/dark berries, tabacco, charcuterie 11+/20 — 6 years ago
Bright ripe cherry, cranberry, touch juicy, red berry, fairly muted on the palatte, maybe some leather, and dried cherry. 4/20 — 6 years ago
Impressive for a Crianza to offer such complexity and elegance. Classic raisinated black and red fruits on the nose with pencil shavings, dried herbs, and mushroom. Subtle tannins, with relaxed mouth feel. — 7 years ago
Nice packaging, dark cherry, bright at first, then rounded out slightly, tannins are bitter, forest floor, 8+/20 — 6 years ago
Dark cherry, little bit peppery, watery, not too bitter 7/20 — 6 years ago
Dark cherry, leather, touch barnyard, mod + minus acid that is well integrated, lean dark fruit, low + tannins that are fairly defined, Solid wine. 12/20 — 6 years ago
Very nice balance of condensed fruit and pleasant earth tones. Appreciate aromas of apricot jelly, starfruit, and banana peel with hints of wasabi, green peas, and wool. Drinking nicely now, but could age for a few more years to lower the amount of fruit tones, but wouldn't want the acidity to fall off. — 7 years ago
Aren Stobby
Savory, dried earthy fruit, refined mild tannins, has some nice edges. Mineral flavors, crystaline-crisp-ness is the structure, reductive style.13/20 — 6 years ago
