HUGE wine. Reminiscent of best Rhones from France. Dense and opulent, could overpower anything but lamb or beef. This 2006 could be cellared for another 20 years. — 10 years ago

Good reasonably priced wine for "pizza night". A little too tannic for my tastes but opened up over time. This is the "cuvée". Will try TreVigne hoping for more fruit for the $$$. — 10 years ago

This is one of my go-to table and cocktail wines. This Viognier Grenache blanc etc blends is the US equivalent of a white rhone blend at an affordable price. Tablas Creek is a partnership with the famous Beaucastel folks, and this is the middle priced version between the Patelin and the Espirit. Eminently drinkable and this 2010 is no exception. The 2013 Patelin is lauded in the new WS as a smart buy at $20 — 10 years ago
