An outstanding red wine from Italy 🇮🇹. The nose has chocolate 🍫, prunes, figs, raisins, black plums and black cherries. The palate slightly sweet with coffee ☕️, dark chocolate 🍫, blackberries, liquorice ➿, raisins 🍇 and cedar wood. A complex wine very high alcohol would recommend this with a rich lamb dish and cheeses 😀. — 4 years ago
A Pinot Noir from South Africa 🇿🇦 this time. From the Hemel en Arde Valley (means Heaven and Earth in Afrikaans). On the Nose, strawberries 🍓, red cherry 🍒, raspberries with slight notes of oak, vanilla, cedar, tobacco and clove and hints of earthiness. the palate delightful flavours of red fruits and Forrest floor with medium tannins. The oak was not overpowering in this and gave room to appreciate the red fruit and earthy notes of this wine. This wine was more pushing towards a Pinotage. Drink this with food especially game and veal. 🙂 — 4 years ago

An oaked Chardonnay from Oregon USA 🇺🇸. It had aromas of green apples 🍏 , butter 🧈, cedar wood 🪵, blossom, pears 🍐, lime and other citrus rinds. The palate was very creamy, with lemon 🍋, lime, hints of herbaceous grass and spiced peach 🍑 . This wine would pair perfectly with fish and terrines 🙂 — 4 years ago
A wonderful Riesling from Rheingau Germany 🇩🇪. The nose had intense pear 🍐, green apple 🍏, lemon 🍋, peach 🍑, lime peel and apricot. The palate brought stone fruit, honey 🍯, hints of mineral (stones), honeysuckle, pineapple 🍍, crispy green apple 🍏 and lime. Overall a perfectly balanced wine with high acidity, off dry (smells sweeter than it tastes) with complexity. Pairs perfectly with spicy food, pork and cured meats. 😁 — 4 years ago
From the Domaine Leflaive Montrachet, Burgundy France 🇫🇷 is 100% Chardonnay and has a gorgeous golden hue. The nose hits you with oak, vanilla, butter, honey and some sweet tropical fruit of pineapple 🍍, green apple 🍏, honey 🍯, white flowers, lemon rind 🍋 and some mineral notes (like flint and limstone). The palate was very creamy with flavours of melon 🍈, lemon 🍋, lime, apple and hints of tropical fruit too. The finish was smooth and long giving it some delightful complexity. 🤩 — 4 years ago

A delightfully matured Pomerol. With a complex nose of jammed plums, blueberries 🫐, blackberries, with some interesting oak notes of clove, leather, espresso ☕️ and vanilla. A long finish and pairs nicely with lamb or roast beef 😊 — 4 years ago
This German 🇩🇪 Riesling was an amazing experience from start to finish. On the nose Gasoline ⛽️, wet stones, flint dust, lime, green apple 🍏 and young mango 🥭. The palate (WOW), off dry pushing sweet (especially for a Kabinett) apple blossom, green apples 🍏, delicate honey 🍯, sweet lemon 🍋, lime oil and hints of pineapple 🍍. Overall an amazing wine with such complexity and tertiary aromas! highly recommend with spicy food (Chinese preferably). 😋 — 4 years ago
