Surprisingly balanced, a bit of a step back from the modern Cali style. Will still appeal to a butterhound but has lovely acidity to counter the creamy texture. — 8 years ago
lacks cohesion, too many sharp notes and too much underripe fruit without the structure or earth to balance, but not unpleasant with roast chicken and root veg — 8 years ago

Well-balanced, restrained but so bold. Acid and tannin, more red fruit than expected, just phenomenal. — 8 years ago
Plush, dark, cool, balanced, a hint of green, medium bodied, smooth, pretty — 8 years ago
Typically overperforming Mercurey, well integrated tannins, subdued earth and fresh fruit. Straight up delicious and super reasonably priced considering its provenance. — 8 years ago

Reminiscent of high end Cru Beaujolais, structure, red floral, pure fruit, will be beautiful for at least the next five, if not ten years — 8 years ago
Holy hells bell pepper, wayy over the top without too much else going on. Not impossible to drink but would serve better as a floor model for someone who's never heard of pyrazines. Still, for 10$, it's at least a curiosity. — 8 years ago
