2018 vintage. Definite savory edge to this one. A stewed tomato quality, stewed tart cherry, dried herbs, dried cranberry, dried blueberry, a light floral touch. Interesting. First Armenian wine experience. Definitely well-made, but for sure shows the more savory side of Eastern bloc/Ancient World wines.

Light ruby color with a garnet rim. Bright aromas of red berry fruit and a pleasant funkiness. Flavors of red cherry and plum with hints of black pepper, ash and minerals. Medium body and finish with well balanced acidity and alcohol. Smooth tannins. Underrated varietal.

Very crisp and light. Tropical notes with lychee and lemongrass . Only Armenian wine I’ve found in Dallas! Great for our hot summers!
