Forgive me if my posts get a bit sales-y while a dive into this new job, but Ryan Zepaltas is really knocking it out. This balanced Can Franc checks it's varietal markers with the effortless nature of Chinon and the forward fruit of Sonoma. 12.5%

Purposefully underripe. Even with significant air, did not have any real aromatic complexity. Dominated by acid and yet bereft of balancing fruit. Have had many good Zepaltas wines but this one was not pleasant to me, and I count myself in the AFWE crowd...

Very ripe red raspberry and wood. Youngin and needed at least 4 hours to open up. Some gooseberry tartiness, red apple skin, menthol, tannin, and rich mouthfeel.
