Have not had a Paso cab for a while. This one is quite satisfying.
Signature Paso lush candied fruits. There is cool vibe on the rich palate with licorice and hint of menthol. Good acidic and tannin structure that suggests long drinking window ahead.
I think this ‘19 bottling is better than the ‘17 and ‘18.
100% Cab from estate vineyard in Templeton Gap.

Ripe dark fruits with light green note. Rich and dense on the palate. Touch of menthol on the long bitter sweet finish.
Not as good as the 17’ vintage.

First try of the 18’. A bit of green note that I rarely detect from previous vintages. Ripe black fruits bordering on jammy. Rich yet robust palate with silky finish.

Smooth and mellowed out after an hour. Loved it. Will go back and buy some more.

Picked the bottle to pair with dessert for a friend who doesn’t like dessert wine.

Rich, dense, with ripe candied dark fruits. Very approachable and so delicious. My last bottle of the 17’. Will try to get more.

Generous fruits layered with herbs and spices, warm rich palate, ripe round tannins.

Sipping this delicious Paso cab while watching the epic battle of Lakers and Heat’s in game 5. Let’s go Heat!

Full body, ripe, and fruit forward, but nothing jammy. Have enough acidity and tannins for tension and balance. Very smooth and utterly delicious.

Very smooth and integrated, but almost no hint of tannins so glad we drank it now. Not certain how much more time it has!

Great bottle of Cab. Perfect with food and not too big to drink by itself. One of my favorites.
