Yatir Vineyards Yatir Creek White 2018, Israel

Pale lemon in color.

Nose of a new world Chardonnay.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing light oak, spices, vanilla, citrus, apples, pears and light earth.

Easy drinking and good by itself.

This is an interesting Viognier blend from Israel. Feels like Russian River Valley Chardonnay.

Nice to see how it held up. Will be interesting to revisit it in a couple of years, and see how it evolved.

A blend of 69% Viognier and 31% Chenin Blanc.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

88 points.

$42.

Appealing blend primarily of Rhone varieties with Viognier leading the way. Good acidity and a variety of flavors that meld well together.
