I’ve been looking forward to drinking another one of these. Gorgeous all around. Not familiar with the grape or region other than this label but I can relate it to a Burgundian PN. Plenty of red fruit and pepper wafting from the glass. Inside it’s light to medium bodied, featuring sour black cherries, baking spices, wet bramble and earth, complimented by a loosely grippy minerality. Has plenty of aging left too, no need to rush this one.

Elegant with subtle black fruit and moderate tannins. Is welcome a bit more acidity but with its warm fruit and good balance it's still a wonderful food wine

Very interesting project from Paul Hobbs. Clean well made wine. Lacked a lot of depth though.

2016 Beautiful spicy taste, not unlike a fine Pinot with a little extra

Good, but tastes like it could have been from anywhere

Not sure what to think of this wine. I have never had anything quite like it. I am tasting pomegranate, espresso, and some dried red fruits. It has an intense, acidic flavor. Interesting, but not my favorite.
