For a commercial Chardonnay at only $18 this is extremely well made by the Wynns winemakers with fruit from Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast in the excellent 2018 vintage. Ripe grapefruit on nose and palate - some peach - oak has integrated. Made for short term drinking.

Bought this in a 6 pack at the Cellar door in Coonawarra a few weeks ago after doing vintage at Bellwether. Bright and fresh with well balanced stone fruit, pear and nutty notes with medium minus acid. Made to be drunk young - cellar if you wish for 2 or 3 years maximum. Great value at $100 for the 6 pack including freight from SA.

Made for early consumption like the Riesling. Perfect balance with a light oak touch and lovely stone fruit characters. Short term. Mild acid.

This Chardonnay didn't make the cut for our engagement list.
Still fresh and vibrant, a good example of new age Chard in Australia.

Deep golden colour. Rather disappointing taste of (hazel?) nuts that is not particularly moreish.

Nice and toasty now with some age on it.
