Dark, glass-clinging garnet red-purple. Nose of boysenberry syrup and pie crust, echoed on the palate with a bit of ash. Full body, medium plus tannins, and medium long finish. Another great Washington Merlot (though the alcohol is a wee bit high). Perfect with my beef stew.

Sour mid red fruits with a touch of VA, blackberries , dark cherries, poached strawberries and sweet, soft, spice on the nose. Nice rich, red and dark fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, plum, black raspberries with strawberries filling out the fruits. M body with M+ tannins that are silty. Loamy soils, soft, understated spice, soft volcanic minerals, mouthwatering acidity and soft, round fruit drive finish.

I won't say how good this was, because no one will believe me.

Very impressive. Still brimming with floral-berry like fruitiness.

Delicious, hot and just how I think a Columbia Valley Merlot should be

Had to blind this wine in front of 100 people...and got most everything right. I guessed 2012 Napa Merlot

Fantastic. One of the best bottles of Merlot I've had in a very long time. Structure, green, fruit and weight! I want more!
