This library selection from Abel’s in San Francisco was educational and delicious - it’s not often that I get to taste a 29 year old WA Cab! This wine is well past peak but the structure is still intact and the color is only slightly faded. A revelation!

From another era. 13% alcohol. No heat. Stored at 52 degrees for 23 years. Beautiful black cherry with a hint of white pepper. I give it 92 points. Parker would have probably given it 84. So different from your usual Cal Cab.
