Very nice drinks like a port

Blood red/pomegranate juice in color. Luscious, ripe, plums, snappy pomegranate flavors, fresh and dusty characters, and some light pepper notes. Great balance, richness and elegance...Considering what this grape can be here in CA. Beautiful stuff, plain and simple.

Cherry, leather, and spice. Dry, damn good.

Bold, fruit-forward.

Herby grass nose. Sand dunes dryness and surf acidity. At Puffers of Pismo.

2014 just released, slight old world, good tannins, wonderful body...

Smoke and tobacco. Slight pepper on the back end.

Smells great; floral and smokey at the same time. Has a slight sour apple and smokey/tobacco taste; goes down acidic at the throat which goes away quickly. Has a taste of pepper that lingers.
