I was so happy when my non wine industry guests flipped for this wine. You raised the bar on Sonoma Coast Chardonnay with this effort Pax.

I wanted to like this more, but there is a little too much butter going on, which I wasn't expecting in this wine. Still pretty nice and not showing any signs of age.

There's a special place in my wine nerd heart for wineries named after the forces of nature that shape their wines.

Light, slightly cloudy, straw yellow. Lemon jam and stones on the nose. On palate I found this to have less persistence and cut than my prior bottle 9mo ago.

Prepping for Christmas dinner. What a delicious Chardonnay. Age has done it well.

A bit acidic for a Chard. For that reason, it aged well.
