Dark red and heavy bodied. Charcoal, beef tartare, apple skins, and figs on the nose. Red apple, cranberry, chocolate mousse, stewed tomatoes, and menthol on the palate. Fruits and acidity up front amd gradually dries out. Would be great around the fire or with grilled meats.

Sight: deep red, descending not to scarlet. Medium viscosity
Smell: cherries, blackberries, red plum, incense, new leather, chocolate
Taste: blackberry, pretty fruity to begin with, low tannin, cherry, chocolate, coffee
Opinion: I really liked this wine, great drinking wine
