Intensely purple. Light fizz up front. Currant, subtle and smooth. Excellent.

Pretty maroon color. A hit of musty, old furniture aroma. All tart fruit, plum, on the palate.

The label says it’s a rose. I think it’s actually a co-fermented field blend of white and red varietals. Drinks like a light red. Good chilled. Has a light spritz and a light, cider-like funk to it. Relatively light in alcohol. Almost reminds me of a piquette.

At first sip it tastes a bit like a cider and finishes like a juicy rose. Tart and refreshing. Unique and worth the search!
