Dec 31st, 2023Nose is denser than the 17. But has stunning alpine scents of fresh grass and herbs and superb florals. Also green apple and Asian pear skins. You can smell the acidity. Palate is intense and riper than 17 but has insane freshens so and all that tense acidity on the back end but it is woven more into the texture. Superb concentration and purity. Awesome mineral sweetness and such sap. This has terrific spine and structure. Amazing purity that pushes to the finish which builds and builds. Superb density along with the requisite herbs and green fruits. What a wine. Almost a 9.4. Maybe air will get it there.
