Dinner 11/29/17 with turkey pie and other dishes. Had to open two bottles! Popular with the kids! Again perfect example of old Riesling aged at the vineyard cellar all these years. Must be that freshness from the living molds!

Aug 6th, 2018Amazingly fresh and lively for such an old horse. The difference of storage at at winery. Would be great surprise as a blinded wine. Agree with previous notes.

May 4th, 2018Surprised didn't comp previously. Cork also darkened on top but in good shape. Again surprising color of golden straw but not that deeper golden hue when aged outside of cellar. Nice nose of straws and white fruit and petrol. Lively and fresh on palate with stones and acids and still fruit notes. Long finish. Good value from JR for a library wine that's 23 years old!
