Big and dense with fruit and tannin. Concentrated for lovers of big wines. Another 10 years easily.

2003 vintage - a huge wine - well integrated fruit & oak - good legs with years ahead of it

Mostly french oak as opposed to the 2009. Ditto my comments for that one however I can see why it appeals to many.

Kapow! 16.5% is heavy duty for most wine drinkers I would think. Fruit, fruit, fruit, sweet, Christmas pudding, time for a lie down. Not my cup of tea but I was well & truly in the minority.
