A little subdued, leaves little aftertaste and a tad too sweet, but an easy drink and not displeasant at all.

A wine that has a lot to offer across a variety of dishes and indeed on its own. Slightly subdued even after decanting as I'd expected a little more "clout" but a good cherry and berry companion for dark evenings.
