Usually I love the taste of red wines but hate the dryness, this wine is almost the opposite. It has great mouthfeel and is very smooth but it is light on taste. Its doesn't taste bad, its nice enough, there just isn't a whole lot there to love or hate. If your not big on reds I think this would be a good starting point.
