Winemaker's Reserve Petite Sirah

It is at prime time.

Drinking perfectly. Fresh black cherries, black licorice, and cocoa powder.

lighter purple then a typical petite sirah, but it is a 2006. Menthol and a savory aroma. Cedar and game on mouth soft tannins

Very cherry forward but smooth and nicely balanced.

Excellent. A nice treat and very classic flavors. Cherry forward but not overwhelming. Dusty.

Balanced with earth and cherry. Definitely still cherry forward but more developed. A nice get from the library mystery box

Excellent petite sirah. Some cherry but not overpowering. Not as great as when aged but very drinkable.

Helped bottle this wine. Has held up wonderfully. Eucalyptus on the nose. Fruit present but fading into tertiary.

The nose is intoxicating (dark fruit, baking spices), but the body is disjointed right now. Not sure it’s going to a better place but will cross-fingers and revisit in a couple years.

Deep cherry and earthy. Interesting and drinking really nicely! Pays to age.
